“Ayuda’s Mission is provide aid to orphaned children in Latin America and establish compassionate partnerships to help our local youth”

In 1969, one of our founders discussed the needs of the orphaned and disadvantage children in Bolivia with the respective wives of the President of the United States and the Governor of the State of Texas. The resulting action was the first social event that was produced at the Governor's Mansion in Austin, Texas, to receive donated toys for the children of Bolivia. Ayuda was formally founded in 1986 in Orange County, California, and was incorporated in 1988. Currently the organization has moved to Riverside, California. It has collected more than $225,000 in donations of cash and medical supplies since it was founded. Members of Ayuda make an annual trip to Bolivia at their own expense to personally deliver clothing, toys, and medical supplies directly to orphanages and hospitals in different cities in Bolivia. Also the organization builds a local partnership with other locals non-profit groups to form the crusades for compassion. This partnership provides the same benefits to our local low-income communities in Southern California.

For the past years, our organizations have provided to the orphanages or Casa Hogares and low-income communities:

  • Clothing, toys, food, medicine, and medical supplies
  • Furniture for the orphan's rooms and recreation areas
  • Water heaters and stoves
  • Tools to teach the children craft skills
  • Instructors to teach them vocational skills
  • Recreation rooms for children's hospitals
  • Supplies for community day cares in the poorest neighborhoods

The members of Ayuda have a strong commitment to help the children of our low-income areas locally and abroad to become strong, healthy, and well-educated citizens of the world.
